It'd been 6 years since they drank Coke from the same bottle and fought over the last piece of Dairy Milk. He had assured her that he'd never let geographical boundaries be a barrier between their hearts.
Every evening was the replica of the festival which celebrates light. As the hills shone with tiny lights all over its body, their hands met at a viewpoint which provided a panoramic view of the place. The chilling breeze played cupid on their first kiss. Seasons changed but the warmth in their hearts was everlasting.
"Look at these love birds", said their friends teasingly. However, both of them refused to tag their bond. Perhaps, every feeling does not require a concrete definition.
"Chocolate?", he offered. He was willing to give her the whole chocolate this time.
Yet she remained silent. He apologized for being late. He'd always been unpunctual while she valued time.
He held her hands firmly but her fingers denied to react and so did her soul.
How could she wholly paralyse her emotions forever? He lost patience and desperately yelled at her.
"It's time to take her now.", a mournful voice requested amidst the gathering. He reminisced how she had always surrendered to his tears. He also recollected having read somewhere that "Everyday is not a Sunday."

A year later,a bouquet of red and white roses and a Dairy Milk accompanied him to the garden of remembrance. The chilling breeze still played cupid in their immortal relationship.
